KID MIKAZE Hometown: Little Tokyo, NY/Springfield, MA Kid Mikaze, one of the quickest and most aerial wrestlers in NECW, loved watching wrestling as he grew up. “I can’t really explain why I decided to become a pro wrestler, I just knew that I had to be in a ring.” he said of his start in the wrestling business. Ricky Steamboat was his earliest inspiration and he was trained in Chicopee, MA by Kevin Landry. Kid Mikaze’s first match took place in September of 2001: a 6 man tag match in which his opponents included Evil Nick and Antonio Thomas. The highlights of his career thus far are not quitting when things got tough and being invited into the New England Invitational as one of five rising stars in the region. Outside of wrestling, Kid Mikaze is into martial arts, BMX, volleyball, basketball, and football. In his spare time he makes wrestling gear, draws, and studies wrestling tapes. He also enjoys watching movies and lists the Crow, the Matrix, Fist of Legend, and Iron Monkey as some of his favorites. This up and coming star in NECW feels honored to be a part of NECW and says, “It is the best New England promotion. Period." - Kristina Altieri
