Zaquary Springate III
Springate was drawn to the business by the larger than life characters and the athleticism. His favorite memory as a fan involves the "Nature Boy", "It was the first time I hung out in a bar with Ric Flair." Another trainee of Killer Kowalski in 1996, his first pro match took place at Macarther Stadium in Syracuse, NY. He lost to Bombshell Billy when the ref turned heel and helped Billy win. He once wrestled in front of 18,000 fans at the K-Rockathon. On what he would change about the business:
"The constant ego trips and certain talent cutting the legs out from one
another." Thoughts On NECW: "I've been in literally hundreds of dressing rooms, and NECW is by far one of my favorites to be in. The talent, the management, and the fans are all some of the greatest on the indy scene." |
